Appraisals (SCAMPI)

Assess-IT is authorized to provide Standard and High Maturity Appraisals both Domestically and Internationally.

Maturity Profile
Description: This multi-day evaluation is used to benchmark your organization to the model's process maturity or capability scale. Typically a profile is used to provide a rough evaluation of the current state of your organization's software development processes.  It should be recognized that this benchmark evaluation is part of a staged approach to help your organization integrate a continuous improvement methodology, it is not intended to replace a SCAMPI appraisal.

Limited Scope Appraisal
Description: This is a formal appraisal conducted by an SEI trained and authorized Lead Appraiser.  However, the scope of the appraisal is limited to a particular project or the particular aspect of the organization that is proving to be challenging.  The limited scope appraisal has many of the benefits of a formal appraisal, but by its very nature is not as intrusive or disruptive to the organization.  This is the appropriate route to take if there is a particularly troubling problem that you are looking for solutions to so you can get off the mark and begin your full scale process improvement efforts.

Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI)
Description: This is a full SCAMPI Appraisal conducted by an SEI trained and authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser; it is a diagnostic and intervention tool that provides an in depth look at your organization's software development and management practices.  A SCAMPI Appraisal requires a significant investment of time and resources and achieves a high level of staff participation and "ownership" of the results.  The resulting Appraisal Artifacts serve as the foundation for your organization's action planning and continuous process improvement effort.

Software Process Consulting and Staff Augmentation

Pre and Post Appraisal Consulting
Description:
Supplementing your staff, our process improvement consultants cover the full gamut of software development processes and lifecycles and a variety of different market sectors. We are available as full time on-site consultants or on an as needed basis.  We have partnered with a limited number of leased-staff or staff augmentation companies.  Our goal is to provide you with qualified, local staff to supplement your organization, while at the same time helping to contain the costs associated with out of town consultants.
