The purpose of management services is to ensure the engagement is effectively planned and managed and that status is communicated among the stakeholders.
- Engagement Planning (TBD based on engagement complexity)
This set of due diligence activities serves a twofold purpose: to assist Assess-IT in learning about an organization, its culture, people, projects, processes, risks, constraints and barriers that may have an effect on the conduct of this engagement and its culmination in a successful outcome; and, to ensure the client is aware of the necessary commitment of resources to accomplish the same. The result of the planning activities is a detailed plan covering: cost, schedule, quality parameters, resources, risks, tasks, deliverables, etc.
- Engagement Management (TBD based on engagement duration)
This set of activities is to ensure the engagement is progressing toward the desired conclusion. Regularly communicating the status of the engagement is essential to a successful outcome. Periodic status meetings will be conducted and documented to track progress and, if necessary, initiate and follow through on corrective actions.
