Experience Summary:
Mr. Haigh is senior level process improvement consultant and instructor with experience in a variety of process improvement methodologies. With over 30 years in the software industry, including operating his own consulting firm, Mr. Haigh has managed software projects and process improvements programs.
He has held many positions within the software development lifecycle: analyst, designer, developer, tester, integrator, operational support. Mr. Haigh has also provided a variety of management and support functions: Quality Assurance Manager; Software Configuration Management Lead (SCM); Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) Lead; and Manager of Process and Quality.
Mr. Haigh has experience in a variety of market sectors including Nuclear and Fossil Power Generation and Distribution, Transportation, Health Care, Telecommunications, Large Retail Operations, Software Application Development, and Service Providers of Internet services and their related consulting partners. He has presented at software process improvement conferences and is a Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute (CMU SEI) Authorized CMMI Instructor. Mr. Haigh has both implementation and appraisal team experience at maturity levels 2 and 3.
